Kelley W. Powell is CEO of MacLaurin Group, Author of Courage to Lose Sight of Shore, Angel Investor & Mentor. Courage to Lose Sight of Shore helps the reader to understand themselves as a leader, especially when it relates to founding a business. It navigates the world of private equity and breaks down the mystery behind it so that the reader can decide if private equity is right for them.

Kelley needed a website for publicity as the author of Courage to Lose Sight of Shore. The website would be dedicated to her work. This would be a more personalized experience where the website would connect more with the audience than a url to buy the book would. Users are more likely to purchase other products if there is a website connecting and promoting them. 

To add legitimacy to Kelley’s platform, I made sure to include all of the featured articles / posts that Courage to Lose Sight of Shore has appeared on. We also wanted to include all of the community support that Kelley brings, most notably her involvement with companies in growth and M&A activities, which are themes throughout her book.

All traffic is trackable through the website, with options to purchase online. In most places that Courage to Lose Sight of Shore is mentioned, the reader is directed to the website to learn more about the author and the book.
