MacLaurin Group provides technical and data expertise for private equity and investment groups for low to mid-market companies. MacLaurin Group advises, mentors, and executes on technology strategy to align with growth and value creation for the business.

I led the design and art direction for the MacLaurin Group website. The site needed a facelift from the previous version. The objective was to modernize the look of the website to reflect the professionalism of the MacLaurin Group brand and to draw attention to the highest value propositions.

Areas of Focus
The services that MacLaurin Group offers needed to be a main focus. Most of the visitors on the website go directly to the services descriptions. This told me that for the majority of users going to the website, the services section was the main objective.

Since the original website was one-page, I wanted to break the sections up into their own pages to allow for pertinent information to be available without overwhelming the home page. 

There was a desire to create a page where events, resources, articles, and podcasts could be stored and promoted. The website lacked a promotional space for high priority information such as upcoming events or newly posted podcasts. I also wanted to be able to have all news viewable at once to increase traffic views of all news.
Result
The new website resulted in an increased amount of traffic. Users were staying on the pages for a longer amount of time. The interactivity of users also increased, creating more engagement for website visitors and allowing them to access more information about MacLaurin Group.
